How is a blog going to help me manage my anxiety? Well, dear reader, these blog posts are written by a licensed therapist who manages anxiety herself. A lifetime of learning different coping skills, reading books, blogs, and talking to other professionals about anxiety has afforded plenty of knowledge about the topic. I aim to share my understanding of where anxiety comes from, why it lingers, different ways you express your anxiety, and how to manage it. Notice I say “manage”. Anxiety won’t go away forever. As a matter of fact, you don’t want it to! It serves a purpose but it doesn’t get to run your life.
